The International Day for Monuments and Sites also known as World Heritage Day is an international observance held on 18 April each year around the world with different types of activities, including visits to monuments and heritage sites, conferences, round tables and newspaper articles.
On April 28, 2022, students of Hacı Ömer Tarman Anadolu Lisesi, Ankara, Turkey, under the guidance of teacher Deniz Fatma Akyol, presented their presentation at an online event - the summary result of joint group work on the topic “Formal education will make you a living; self-education will make you a fortune.
The presentation was collected on all topics: clothing, food, traditions, architecture, music, and tourist destinations.
On April 27, an online seminar " Kind Entrepreneurship" was held, in which about 40 people took part.
The workshop covered two main topics: "Green jobs for the future" and "How to make money using online platforms".

On April 23rd, 1920, the
Grand National Assembly of Turkey met for the first time and laid the
foundations of the Republic of Turkey. On April 23, 1929, in addition to
celebrating Turkey's independence, parliament declared April 23rd a national
holiday dedicated to children at the request of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, founder
of the Turkish Republic. Turkey was the first country in the world to celebrate
an official Children's Day with this holiday, which was gifted to children in
Turkey and in the world. Every year on April 23rd, children from dozens of
countries are invited to Turkey to celebrate this special day with ceremonies
and have the chance to share their poems, songs, folk dances with each other.
